About Soar
Reliable solutions.Higher standards.
A plumbing and heating business built on the West Sussex coast, doing bathrooms, boilers and everyday plumbing for homes and businesses between Brighton and Chichester.
Who we are
One team, from the quote to the handover
Soar Plumbing and Heating works across coastal West Sussex, doing two things mainly: installing bathrooms and installing, repairing and servicing boilers and heating systems. Around those two sit everything else a household or a business needs from a plumber, from a dripping tap to a commercial maintenance schedule.
The business exists because of a pattern almost everyone recognises. You get three quotes, none of them itemised. One trade blames another. The price moves halfway through. The person who sold you the job is not the person who turns up, and after the second week nobody answers the phone at all.
We built the way we work around removing each of those. Quotes are itemised and fixed in writing. The same team is on your job from the first day to the last. Tiling, plastering, boarding and plumbing are ours rather than subbed out, and where a job needs an electrician it is the same one we have worked with for years, booked by us. You always have a direct line to the person doing the work.
We are Gas Safe registered and insured, and both are verifiable before anyone starts. Every gas engineer carries a Gas Safe ID card showing exactly what they are qualified to work on, and you should ask to see it. From us, and from anyone else who turns up at your door.
What that means in practice
- Fixed written quotes, itemised, with no costs added without your agreement
- The same engineers on site throughout, not a rotating cast of subcontractors
- Direct access to the person doing the work, not a call centre
- Certificates, warranties and guarantees issued in writing on completion
Domestic and commercial
Two very different customers, one standard
A homeowner planning a bathroom and a salon owner with a failed water heater are not the same customer. One is comparing quality and craft over several weeks; the other needs the problem gone before opening tomorrow. We do not pretend those are the same job, and we do not run them the same way.
What does not change is the standard. Fixed prices in writing either way. Certificates and records issued either way. Sites protected and cleaned at the end of every day either way. The difference is the pace and the paperwork, not the care.
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6pm, Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm. Emergency callouts outside these hours by arrangement.
