Bathroom Installations
Bathroom installations in Worthing,Lancing and Littlehampton
Full refits, wet rooms and en-suites, designed and installed by one team from strip-out to the final bead of silicone.
A bathroom refit is the job most likely to go wrong for a homeowner, and it usually goes wrong for the same reason: too many trades, none of them responsible for the whole thing. The tiler blames the plasterer, the plasterer blames the plumber, and you spend three weeks chasing people who do not answer the phone.
We do it the other way round. One team takes the room from the first tile off the wall to the final seal, and the same person who quoted the job is the person you speak to while it is running. Tiling, plastering and first and second fix plumbing are ours. Electrics are handled by the same qualified electrician we have used for years, booked and coordinated by us, not by you.
Before anything is ripped out you get a written fixed price that lists the suite, the tiles, the labour and the extras. If something genuinely unforeseen turns up behind a wall, and in older Sussex housing stock it sometimes does, we stop, show you, price it, and wait for you to say yes before we carry on.

What this covers
Everything that falls under bathroom installations
-
Full bathroom refits
The whole room taken back to brick or stud and rebuilt. Typically seven to twelve working days depending on tiling and whether the layout moves.
-
Wet rooms
Properly tanked, correctly falled former or graded screed, and a drainage design that works with your existing waste run rather than fighting it.
-
En-suites
Small rooms are harder, not easier. Tight pipework, extraction that actually clears the moisture, and pumped waste where gravity is not on your side.
-
Cloakrooms and downstairs WCs
Compact installs, macerator or gravity waste, and space-planning that stops a small room feeling like a cupboard.
-
Accessible and adapted bathrooms
Level-access showers, grab rail provision fixed to real noggins rather than plasterboard, and layouts planned around how the room will actually be used.
-
Bathroom plumbing only
Already have a tiler and a sparky? We will do the plumbing element on its own and work to their programme.
How it works
How a bathroom installation job runs with us
-
Design and survey
We come out, measure the room, look at the existing pipework and waste runs, and talk through what you want. If the layout you have in mind will not work, we will tell you at this stage rather than on day four.
-
Fixed written quote
An itemised price covering suite, tiles, labour and everything else. Supply your own suite if you prefer, or use our trade accounts.
-
Strip-out and first fix
Old suite out, pipework and waste re-run, electrics first-fixed, walls boarded and tanked. This is the stage that determines whether the finish is any good.
-
Tiling, fitting and sign-off
Tiling, suite installation, second fix electrics, sealing and commissioning. Everything tested, the room cleaned, and the guarantee confirmed in writing.
Pricing
What moves the price, and why we quote after a visit
- Whether the layout stays put or the bath, WC and basin move, which changes the waste and pipework work substantially
- Tiling area and tile format. Full-height tiling on four walls is roughly double a half-height tile to two walls, and large-format porcelain takes longer to set out
- Suite specification, which realistically spans a few hundred pounds to several thousand for the same physical installation
- Whether the room needs re-boarding, tanking or a new floor structure once the old suite is out
- Electrical scope: a like-for-like light and extractor is a different job to underfloor heating, a new circuit and recessed lighting
- Access and property type. A second-floor flat with no parking costs more in labour hours than a ground-floor house with a driveway
Every quote is itemised and fixed in writing before any work starts. If something genuinely unforeseen turns up, we stop, show you, price it, and wait for you to agree before carrying on.

Bathroom Installations questions
What people ask about bathroom installations
A straight swap where the layout stays the same is usually five to seven working days. A full refit with the layout moving and full-height tiling is typically nine to twelve. We give you a start and finish date in writing before we begin, and we work the room continuously rather than disappearing to another job halfway through.
Either way works. We have trade accounts with the main merchants and will pass the trade price on, itemised in the quote. Plenty of customers prefer to choose and buy their own suite, and that is completely fine. If you do, order it early and have it delivered before we start.
Tiling, plastering, boarding and tanking are all ours. Electrics are done by a qualified electrician we work with regularly, arranged and coordinated by us. You deal with one point of contact for the whole job.
In older properties around Worthing and Shoreham it happens: rotten joists, lead pipework, or a previous installation that was never done properly. We stop, photograph it, explain the options and price the extra work. Nothing gets added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
If you have a second WC, yes. If the bathroom being refitted is your only one, we plan the strip-out so the WC is reconnected at the end of each working day wherever the pipework allows. Where it genuinely is not possible we tell you upfront which days will be affected, and it is usually one or two rather than the whole job.
